Mason Handpainted Wooden Wall Clock — Indian Elephant Folk Art Design

The Mason Handpainted Wooden Wall Clock is a bold, joyful decorative wall clock featuring a vivid saffron-yellow wooden frame adorned with handpainted Indian elephant motifs. Caparisoned elephants — painted in blue, red, orange, and green with decorative howdahs and tassels — march around the wide frame between tropical trees and foliage, rendered in a style deeply rooted in Rajasthani folk-art traditions.

At 30.5 cm in diameter, this handpainted wall clock is compact enough for a bedroom or study but carries sufficient visual weight to anchor a feature wall in a living room or hallway. The Roman numeral dial at the centre is clean and legible, set against a cream background with slim black hands. Each clock is individually handpainted, making minor variations between pieces a mark of its authentic craft origin.

Frequently Asked Questions About Handpainted Clocks

Q1: What does “handpainted” mean for the Mason wall clock?

A: Every element of the Mason’s frame — from the saffron background to the elephant caparisons, trees, and decorative details — is applied individually by hand using artist brushes. No printing or transfer techniques are used. This means each clock has minor unique characteristics that reflect its handmade origin.

Q2: Is the Mason wall clock suitable for a puja room?

A: The elephant motif has deep auspicious significance in Indian tradition. Many buyers choose the Mason for puja rooms and prayer spaces alongside Swadesi Wall Decor and devotional objects. The saffron yellow frame also resonates with festive and sacred colour associations.

Q3: Can this be used as a Diwali or wedding gift?

A: The Mason is among the most popular gifting choices in the Vedas Homes folk-art wall clock range for Diwali, weddings, and housewarmings. The cultural resonance and premium handpainted quality make it a memorable and meaningful gift.

Q4: How does the Mason compare to the Royal Handpainted Wall Clock?

A: Both feature Indian elephant motifs on a handpainted wooden frame, but the Mason has a

saffron-yellow background with a lighter, nature-filled composition. The Royal uses a bold red frame with a denser elephant arrangement. The Mason is slightly lighter and more delicate in its visual character.

Q5: What wall surfaces can the Mason be mounted on?

A: The Mason’s pre-installed bracket supports mounting on plaster, brick, concrete, and drywall walls. A single nail or screw is required.

Q6: Does the handpainted finish require any sealing or treatment after purchase?

A: No additional treatment is required. The finish is applied at manufacture and should be maintained only with dry dusting and protection from moisture and sunlight.

Q7: What size space does the Mason need on the wall?

A: At 30.5 cm diameter, allow approximately 45–50 cm of clear wall space around the clock for a comfortable visual margin. It works well alongside Wooden Wall Art and Decorative Mirrors in a gallery wall arrangement.
